By applying biochar to the soil the water retention and soil moisture capacity of the soil increases. For those not able to give water to the plants at regular interval can use biochar. The soil also does not get cracked when biochar is added there by reducing overall water / moisture losses from soil. The potted plants can be let unattended from one week to ten days easily by application of biochar.
